The hydrochloride form of Noscapine is called Noscapine hydrochloride (HCL). It is regarded as analkaloid with different actions. It inhibits carbachol-stimulated phosphoinositol turnover in CNS tissues and enhances forskolin-stimulated cAMP increases. It is an antagonist at Bradykinin B Receptors (bradykinin receptors). In addition to this, Noscapine HCL binds to tubulin, arrests cells in mitosis and causes apoptosis. It blocks expansion of human leukemia and multiple myeloma cells. Furthermore, Noscapine regulates activation of IKK, suppressing the NF-B signalling pathway. While exhibiting an anti-inflammatory activity, it is an inhibitor of Tubulin.

DESCRIPTION :- Noscapine hydrochloride is the hydrochloride form of Noscapine. Noscapine HCL is an alkaloid with several actions. Antagonist at Bradykinin B Receptor (bradykinin receptors) (pA2 = 6.68), inhibits carbachol-stimulated phosphoinositol turnover and enhances forskolin-stimulated cAMP increases in CNS tissues. Additionally Noscapine binds to tubulin, arrests cells in mitosis and induces apoptosis. Blocks proliferation of human leukemia and multiple myeloma cells. Furthermore, Noscapine modulates IKK activation, suppressing the NF-B signaling pathway. Exhibits anti-inflammatory activity. Noscapine hydrochloride is an inhibitor of Tubulin.
